For background, over a decade ago Hydro Flask pioneered an alternative sealing process for vacuum insulated bottles. In late 2012, we moved beyond what at the time was the industry standard vacuum sealing process toward an innovative process that sealed our bottles without the use of lead. Even though this process was more complex – and more expensive – we chose this path because we aimed for a higher standard, knowing lead could be harmful to our consumers, manufacturing partners and the environment.

Since then, we’ve continued to focus on and invest in corporate responsibility initiatives. In March of 2023, Hydro Flask launched our Trade-In program, a first-of-its kind stainless steel bottle trade-in and recycling program specifically designed to enable you to recycle your old Hydro Flask products efficiently and properly.”
