Use the "Textbook Look-up" tool to find the course materials for your course and section. All prices subject to change and course material refunds must be completed 14 days from class start and items must be in their original sealed packaging. PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 7-10 DAYS TO RECEIVE A PACKAGE. Every order must go through the register system in store, therefore there are NO instantaneous codes. Do NOT place an order if you need access right away, try, our e-book partner's site that takes credit cards only. The JJC Bookstore does not process orders Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, during college break/recess, and after operational hours during business days. The JJC Bookstore does NOT replace lost or stolen packages. If you are not comfortable with shipping at your own risk, choose in-store pick-up.

In-Person Service is limited until further notice

The Main Campus Bookstore at 1215 Houlbolt Road, building A, will be open to the public Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm except for campus holidays and closures. We will work virtually and respond to emails from 4:30pm to 6pm on Tuesday and Thursdays and Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. There are no services Saturday and Sunday. The JJC Bookstore at  Romeoville is currently closed to the public. We are only allowing 10 customers into the store at one time and all customers must enter through the temperature check point and wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times. The bulk of our sales will continue to be processed online at You can search, rent, and buy course materials and browse and purchase supplies and spiritwear on this e-commerce site. 

Online Orders

The JJC Bookstore will continue to service the bulk of our sales online.  Please allow up to 10 days for orders to process and ship. Please place you orders at The JJC Bookstore accepts FASFA financial aid, job grants/vouchers, checks, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) as payment. Please carefully review order options and terms and conditions when placing your order.  For Job grants/vouchers, please email your signed voucher (with your current/up to date schedule) to For all other orders, our textbook look-up tool at will allow you to view prices and format choices for your materials before purchasing. Book Buy Back


Buyback will be conducted during operational hours at the JJC Bookstore at Main Campus.


Students may check buyback prices buy using the buyback pricing tool from the menu on this e-commerce site. Students are also welcome to try various third parties online.  While we do not have an extensive list of possible websites, we do have links to our wholesale partners at, and The JJC Bookstore is not operating these third-party sites and is not responsible for transactions completed including rental books accidently sold at virtual buyback. 


Refund Policy

Our full refund policy is available on the Customer Service link.

As a customer, you can process a refund request using email and the rental return bin outside Building A at Main Campus should you choose not come into the store.  The JJC Bookstore can verify eligibility and discuss steps to complete the refund. You may email with the ISBN/SKU and title/name of the item in question along with the purchase date. Please include the Course number and section if the item is a course material. Once you have permission for the refund, any materials dropped in the rental return for a refund must be identified with a receipt and/or a copy of the email giving permission for the refund.
